Your content is a conversation, not a lecture. Write the way you speak and stop trying to sound clever. If you’d never say it out loud, don’t you dare write it.

This is the bit where everyone perks up in the hope of discovering the magic secret. I’m not going to promise that, but you should get something useful from the tips I give my copywriting clients on how they can improve their writing.
