Get to the point

Shape your personal brand in a way that doesn’t annoy people. Don’t engage in social media behaviour that would put you off if you were the consumer.

There’s no rulebook for social media. It’s a bit like the digital Wild West. People can get away with just about anything. Or at least that’s how it can seem at times.

This chapter covers some of my biggest bugbears on social media. Please remember that I’m no sheriff and this isn’t the law. That’s probably for the best, as I’d surely be a nightmare if I had any real power.
