Can you answer these questions about your business blog?

  • What was your most popular post in the last 12 months?
  • Which is your most popular social network for sharing posts?
  • Which day of the week is best for sharing your content?
  • How long are your most shared posts?
  • Which type of content is most popular?

I wanted to know the answers for my own blog, so I did some research and created a report. And now I’m offering to create that report for your own blog. Sound good?

Note: To generate stats for your blog, I’ll need to analyse at least 10 blogs from the past year.

Businesses with successful blogs tend to publish as least one article a month. If you need a hand with your content writing, please get in touch.

One more thing: I can’t analyse blogs that are subdomains of services that host many web accounts. For example, if your website address takes the form of or, I won’t be able to create a report for you. If you’re serious about blogging for your business, register your own domain (try

Why are these stats important?

The economic value of content that isn’t shared is zero.

If no one is reading your content, there’s little point in that content existing. But don’t take that as a sign to give up! It takes a while to make a dent even if you are producing the right sort of content for your audience.

The truth is that creating and sharing content is the best way to market a modern business. The challenge is to produce useful, relevant content for your ideal target audience.

What others have said about the shareability report

Thank you, John! I already knew what was working, but I didn’t know where it was working. Your shareability report changed that.

Your easy-to-understand insights mean I’m now focusing my content delivery on the social media channels that work hardest for me. That’s saving me time and increasing engagement. Two wins!

Your shareability report is a handy piece of intelligence! It’s going to really help me plan my social media work. There’s no point talking to an empty room and this will definitely help me avoid that!

The report was really helpful and gave me a great insight into what I should be posting and when. In fact I was quite surprised at the results, it was not what I thought at all. Now I have a much clearer understanding and will be applying this to my content strategy going forward.

Definitely recommend this to others.

I found the data very useful and the tips that you included were a nice touch! I will definitely be implementing some of the suggested changes and look forward to having my report done again in the future so I can (hopefully) see that there is a distinct improvement!

Is this report really free?

Yes! I’m committed to working with business owners who are interested in producing the best quality content for their blogs, but I think everyone can benefit from understanding how well their posts are performing. So, I’m offering the report free in the hope that it helps business owners – whether they work with me or not – to produce better content.

If that sounds good, enter your web address and contact details above and I’ll get cracking on producing your report. Please keep in mind that I’ll need to analyse at least 10 posts to generate any results. But there’s no need for you to go off and do any counting: if your blog doesn’t contain enough content for me to analyse, I’ll let you know.
