New features in the SfEP Directory

In this guest post for the Society for Editors and Proofreaders, I set out the new features of the Society’s Directory of Editorial Services, which is a searchable listing of more than 600 editorial professionals.

New features in the SfEP Directory

I’ve been working on revising the Directory since the SfEP’s new website went live at the end of November 2015. These updates have laid the foundations for another set of improvements I’m working on, which I hope to release in early 2017. I’ll discuss those in a future blog, with a live demo at the SfEP conference in September 2016.

For now, take a look at what’s new in the Directory:

  • Profile photos
  • Featured content
  • New-look testimonials
  • Video embed support
  • Search engine cloaking (optional)

For all the details, read my SfEP guest blog.

Cheers, John. Really appreciate the work you do to publicise updates and future plans.
