How to filter Google searches

Did you know that you can filter Google searches using the site: filter? Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Go to Google
  2. Type site:
  3. Type the domain name of the site you want to search
  4. Type a space and the rest of your search query.

For example:

site: filter in Google

The site: filter in Google

Run the search and you’ll see that the results are limited to pages from the nominated site.

This method is great when you know that what you’re looking for is on one particular site.
